Cow Parade captures one of those familiar moments of rural life that might otherwise go unnoticed. The cattle form a quiet procession across a vivid green landscape, beneath the dark shapes of woodland trees.

Expressive layers of emerald green, yellow, blue and earthy tones bring energy to the painting, while loose marks and textures suggest the tangled vegetation of the field margins.
