I’ve made the papers… and the girls are heading to Cardigan
Blimey very excited to be featured in the Cambrian News ahead of my upcoming exhibition Lock Up Your Grandads – The Girls Are Coming to Cardigan.
The exhibition brings together my Owd Lasses and Rural Lives collections — character-led paintings and prints inspired by working-class life, rural landscapes and the stories we don’t always tell out loud.

About the exhibition
Lock Up Your Grandads – The Girls Are Coming to Cardigan runs from 19–25 April at the Corn Exchange, Guildhall, Aberteifi.
This isn’t a “quiet gallery, don’t touch anything” sort of exhibition.
Expect:
- 🎭 A chance to dress up as an Owd Lass
- 🍬 A few retro sweets knocking about
- 📝 A story board for your own tales (the ones you probably shouldn’t tell… but will anyway)
- 🖼 Original paintings and prints from both collections
- A chance to find hidden free art around Cardigan…
It’s about bringing people together — sharing stories, having a laugh, and recognising a few familiar characters along the way.
